Liza Miller and the Re-Cycle Garage

Editor Surj on the Motorcycles & Misfits Podcast

I dialed in for some virtual hang time with our pals at the Motorcycles and Misfits podcast last night. We discussed the recent changes here at CityBike, my current injuries, the Keigwin’s lawsuit, and a variety of other stuff. I show up around 11 minutes in, but you’ll want to stick around for the whole thing—unless you hate America, fun, and freedom.

I always enjoy hanging with the M & M crew—I joined them in person in their Santa Cruz compound for the first time back in January 2016 and seem to run into them at just about every moto-centric event I attend, even as far north as Portland’s One Show.

If you’re not familiar with the Motorcycles & Misfits podcast, it’s a weekly jam session that grew out of the Re-Cycle Garage down in Santa Cruz—check out page 29 of our October 2016 issue for more background. Or, just start listening above. There’s a rotating cast of characters, anchored by Liza, Nak, Miss Emma, Naked Jim and others, and their shows are always fun, informative, and irreverent. In other words, if you like CityBike, you’ll almost certainly like the Misfits. Follow ’em on Facebook to stay on top of their shenanigans.
