Join us for the CityBike Mojo-to-Zen Ride August 7th!
We're pleased to announce the first annual Mojo-to-Zen CityBike ride! We'll leave from Mojo Town Motorcycle Shop at 9:00 a.m. and ride up to Zen House Motos in Point Arena. Route is posted below, and you will be given a copy of the route before the ride.
This is NOT a group ride: you are welcome to ride the route, but CityBike magazine assumes no liability for anything that happens along the way. Ride your own ride, ride safely and we'll see you in Point Arena!
After a lunch of legendary Chile Verde tacos—provided by the good folks at Zen House—we'll have a bike show and judging (with prizes for oldest bike, coolest bike and most interesting bike) as well as a reading of some of our favorite CityBike material with Gabe Ets-Hokin, Will Guyan and maybe a surprise guest or two. Head northwest on Francisco Blvd toward Irene Street (0.2 mi)
Take the 1st right onto Irene Street (499 ft)
Turn left at Kerner Blvd (0.3 mi)

Turn right to merge onto US-101 N toward Santa Rosa (17.0 mi)

CityBike Street Rack Changes Notice! |

|
We have pulled a majority of our street racks out of San Francisco for rehabilitation. After years on the street, most were battered and faded. Please note that CityBike is delivered to every motorcycle shop in San Francisco and that they should still be available indoors at this point - go on in and ask! We have new racks at Red's Java House, and at the bottom of the twisty part of Lombard St. We will be adding new racks back to San Francisco in the future, but probably at different locations. |

Time once again to head to the International Motorcycle Show to ooh and aah over all the new models, see friends you haven’t seen all year (probably because they owe you money) and get grease from your deep-fired hotdog bun all over cheap leather vests from Pakistan as you paw through bargain-priced riding gear. But don’t forget to look us up: City Bike will have a booth in the main hall, across from them three-wheeled Can-Am dealy-bobs. |

BUELL CRUSHED, MV AGUSTA FOR SALE
We were already a little bummed in mid-October here at CB: the paper was getting printed late (sorry!), it was raining already, and we keep spinning up our rear tire on that stupid diamond plate in the middle of the Bay Bridge. So you can imagine the crushing blow dealt by the news that Harley-Davidson, in its corporate wisdom, had decided to “discontinue the Buell product line as part of its strategy to focus on growth through the Harley-Davidson brand” on October 15th. |
