Ride Friday Give Back (Cornerstone Coffee, 20991 Redwood Rd, Castro Valley, CA 94546)
Also known as the “Fuck Black Friday Ride,” our apparently annual, post-Turkey Day ride will benefit Alameda County CASA and involve coffee at the beginning and pizza at the end. Last year’s post-Turkey Day ride raised $700, and we’re really hoping to break $1,000 this year. As with last year, ALL money will go to Alameda County CASA.
We’ll kick off with coffee at Cornerstone in Castro Valley at 10 AM, start riding the East Bay hills at 11 AM, and have a post-ride pizza lunch at Lanesplitter in Emeryville, well... whenever we get there!
We’re asking for at least a $20 donation from each rider. Your donation gets you in, caffeinated at the beginning and fed at the end. Thanks to generous support from our sponsors Cornerstone Coffee and Lanesplitter Pizza!
This year we're adding something pretty cool—we'll be posting CityBike's world famous staff photographers along the route—they'll shoot the ride as we come by. Donate an extra $20 and we'll share all the hig-res shots, from pre-ride to post-ride and everything in between. This is a very cool opportunity to get shots of yourself riding, and there's no risk—we're offering a money back guarantee.
33rd Annual Dudley Perkins Toy Run (Dudley Perkins H-D, 333 Corey Way, South San Francisco, CA 94080)
Meet at DPCHD for coffee at 9 AM, kickstands up at 10 AM. Breakfast at Mariposa Yacht Club after caroling at SF General Hospital. Run pin: $7 in advance, $10 day of ride. Run pin + breakfast: $20 in advance, $30 day of ride. DPCHD.com.
