11:00 am: Santa Cruz Scooter Club Monthly Group Ride (Meet at Fin’s Coffee, 1104 Ocean Street in Santa Cruz)
Join us for our monthly ride, the 2nd Sunday of each month. We meet at Fin’s Coffee on Ocean Street in Santa Cruz, and depending on who shows, the weather, and how much time folks have, we plan a route for the day. We also usually stop for lunch somewhere. 9:00 am: California (Northern) Moto Guzzi National Owners Club (MGNOC) breakfast at Putah Creek Cafe in picturesque Winters, California (Highways 505/128) MGNOC members and interested Guzzi riders meet for breakfast and a good time. The reason for getting these events started was to provide a fun, social atmosphere for Ducati owners, folks that want to become Ducati owners, and folks that don’t yet know that they want to become Ducati owners to sit, eat, talk, walk around and look at other Ducatis. All brands and models of motorcycles are welcome.

Sit Stay Ride (McNear’s Mystic Theater, 21 Petaluma Blvd N, Petaluma, CA)
See America’s sidecar dogs on the big screen. Reception at 6:30 PM, screening begins at 7:30. Tickets are $20, proceeds benefit Lily’s Legacy, a Petaluma-based, 100% volunteer, nonprofit senior dog sanctuary. Get more info at mystictheatre.com or lilyslegacy.org.

San Jose Indoor Pro Short Track (Santa Clara County Fairgrounds—Expo Hall, 344 Tully Road, San Jose, CA)

The Quail Motorcycle Gathering (Quail Lodge & Golf Club, 8000 Valley Greens Drive, Carmel, CA)
Celebrating the Evolution of the Motorcycle, honoring both pre- and post-war eras of the world’s finest sports and racing bikes, The Quail features a gourmet barbeque lunch with offerings from local wineries and breweries, together with live entertainment, leading motorcycle manufacturers, lifestyle vendors and more.

Sheetiron 300 Dualsport (Stonyford, CA)
If your pinky etiquette isn’t up to snuff for The Quail, take your plated, actually street legal dual sport up to Stonyford for a weekend of riding. The Sheetiron is a two-day ride starting in Stonyford Saturday morning, breaking for the night in Fort Bragg, and returning to Stonyford Sunday afternoon. This is a non-competitive ride—riders of all abilities are welcomed.

The Sacramento Mile (Cal Expo, Sacramento, CA)
Get your first taste of big time flat track action (flat trac-tion?) early this year—the Sac Mile has moved up a couple months in the AMA schedule, which means the Sacramento heat won’t be so brutal. There’s even free motorbike parking!
